West Lothian Council have published a draft Local Housing Strategy that they wish to consult on. You can download a summary of the draft strategy HERE. Tenants and other service users are advised to submit their views prior to January 2012.

The Scottish Parliament approved the Scottish Social Housing Charter at its sitting on the 14th March 2012. The Charter will come into force on the 1st April 2012. The Charter contains 17 Outcomes covering a range of service areas that landlords deliver on behalf of tenants. The Charter Outcomes will also help the Scottish Housing Regulator, tenants and service users to verify whether landlords are delivering services in a way that meets their tenants needs and prioities.
