Five Sisters Housing Network is the umbrella group representing individual tenants, Registered Tenants Groups and service users living in the West part of West Lothian. Five Sisters Housing Network's main role is to work with all service users and to represent their views on housing and other related matters to the Council.
The Housing Network covers the following electoral wards:
Chair: Danny Mullen
Vice Chair: Sarah Michelle McFarlane
Secretary: Alison Kerr
Treasurer: Isobel McCabe
You can contact us at Tenants Resource Centre, 207 West Main Street, Whitburn or by email to akerr1960@btinternet.com
As a Housing Network we will be advised of all Housing and Building Services consultations that are to be carried out in our area. Prior to entering discussions with housing management we will consult tenants and service users to hear their views. We will, to the best of our ability, try to ensure Housing and Building Services exercises its legal duty to consider all tenants views before taking any major decisions affecting their housing and services.
Netwoks Consultation Plan 2010-2011
If you live in the above named communities you can join like minded tenants and residents and participate in a way that suits you. Full details on how you can become involved are available in the Tenant Participation Strategy. Although the Council supports us financially, we are independent and work to an agreed Annual Work Plan.
Our meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (except July) in Whitburn Tenant Resource Centre at 11am.
